Tony said he needed a flashlight this evening so he could take some garbage out to the garbage can. He didn't want to be outside in the dark, so he asked if he could have the big, gray flashlight we keep up high in the cupboard. It was OK with me, so I told him Daddy would get it down.
"Oh, I don't need Daddy," Tony told me eagerly. "I can get it down." And he easily reached up and took the flashlight from it's place. I just stood there slack jawed at what he was able to acheive. Wasn't it just yesterday he was crawling around on the floor? When did he grow tall enough to take things out of the cupboard? My baby is growing up. AHHH
