Is fair for me to say no?
Let me explain. This evening I was having some "me" time (reading the news on the Internet, playing a computer game of Chinese Checkers) when Angelo came with DeeDee and asked if I could hold her. I said no. (Well, OK, it was more like "I had her all day, please can I have some time to myself?") So, is it fair? Was it fair for him to get a little upset at me for saying no? I love my kids, but I also need a break - especially I'm around kids all day long.
Just for a few minutes I want to be by myself - no Tony, no Angelo, no DeeDee, no grading, just
me.
