I got my two maple trees tapped last week; the south tree has given up about seven gallons of sap so far, the north tree is dry. It's still too cold for it.
Over heard today from the mouth of a two-year-old: "Look Mommy, COWBOYS!" as he points to three fully uniformed (including hats) state troopers. Yes, the three officers overheard his excited comment, and stopped to say hi to the little boy.
I have another cold! Bother!
Just two more weeks before my parents arrive for a visit. I am looking around here and noticing all the clutter that really needs to be picked up. Ugh.
I'm going to bed.
