I have to teach a creative writing/journalism class at my church this evening. An assignment I gave two weeks ago was to observe someone, and write down the observation so that we can create a clear picture in our minds.
I don't know if this is a clear observation, but this is what came out while watching my husband. Can you tell me what he's doing?
Lengthening shadows
Cloudless sky
Not a breeze was felt
Mower working
Man pushing
The grass is green
Sweat glistening
Legs moving
Going around in circles
Face steady
Eyes intent
Getting the job done.
