I relearned an important lesson today. In the world of faith and religion, it is important not to trust people as it is to trust in the message of the Bible. People will fail you betray you, hurt you, disappoint you, discourage you, and dishearten you. People will lead astray. The Bible will always lead you to the truth. It will only bring comfort, bring hope, bring encouragement, and bring salvation.
It took a silly, unfair Facebook contest to reteach me this.
