Another choir mom attended the third concert - it was at her son's school - reported the kids did an excellent job! They returned to the choir building mid-afternoon for a two-hour rest period, a light rehearsal and some scheduled voice lessons. Then it was off to dinner on their way to their fourth and final performance of the evening; a senior center.
Parents were welcomed to attend that concert, and a few did, myself included (since it was only about four and a half miles from my house.)
When the boys entered and found their places on the risers, a few of them looked like they were about ready to fall over, they were so tired. Mr. Tony's Conductor made note of that in his introduction - stating the boys had been performing since 9:30 that morning.
I was very impressed with Tony's presentation. He has greatly improved since last Sunday - in fact they all had a much better stage presentation - when they performed for the organization's fall pancake breakfast.
The boys sang eight songs last night - about an hour-long concert with Mr. Conductor talking between every couple songs.
From where I was sitting I could hear several comments from different attendees. From "They are so cute" to " what a beautiful sound," the boys thoroughly impressed their audience.
Afterward, the boys were treated to cake and cookies, and were encouraged to sit among the residents of the senior center. Once Tony and two others were done manning the CD table and taking care of supplies, he got his snack and found a table to sit at. He very willingly told of his experiences in the choir to those who just as willingly listened.
It was a great experience for Tony, and he's ready to do it again. The concert schedule only gets busier from now on.

Yes, this choir seems to put out a good product; the boys are always so handsome and sing so well.
What a wonderful experience for everyone! I like seeing young people with the elderly. It is so heart warming. I hope this schedule isn't going to wear everyone out.
that was a good song clip. :)
How do the ages range in Tony's choir? it looks like different ages.
Adorable. That was just adorable.
