Bear, Blanket, Books, Bottle

DeeDee loves her things. When "night-night" time comes, whether it's a mid-day nap or bed time at night, DeeDee isn't comfortable until she has her pink bear, her pink blanket, her bottle (which she is slowly getting away from) and her books.

DeeDee loves her books. When it's time for her to go into her crib, she will not willingly go until she has had some time on my lap having me read to her as many books as she thinks she can get me to read. But that's not all! The books I read follow her into her crib so she can look at them and "read" them over and over.

Many times when I've checked on her later, she'll be asleep with a bottle that has slipped from her mouth, her blanket under her head, her bear under her arm, and her books on her chest where they ended up after she had loosened her grip on them in her sleep.

And, speaking of books, I managed to get this video clip of her "reading" in the rocking chair, completely unaware of my presence.

Please know that this was captured with my cell phone and the audio is very soft. You'll need to crank the volume up to hear her reading outloud.
