The sound of two guitars

Tony recieved a child-size guitar about two years ago from my parents. It was an Ebay thing with nylon strings. It's great for playing around on and learning simple chords; but believe me, it does not sound very good. It's also very hard to keep in tune.

Angelo received a guitar for Christmas. It was a bought from a local chain store, about a $100, but it has a nice sound to it. He also received guitar lessons.

Right now, in another room I'm hearing the nice sound of my husband learning his chords, and along side him is the thunk, thunk of Tony's little fingers just not quite strong enough to press the strings all the way down to the fret board. While it sounds like fingernails on a blackboard to my note-sensitive ears, the two of them are having fun and doing something together, so I do not mind.
