The moment has arrived. It is a .....

After waiting weeks to find out of Tony's sibling is a boy or a girl, I finally had my last ultra sound this afternoon. Joining me in this grand announcement was big brother Tony, Daddy Angelo, and adopted Grandma Miss Mary.

Of all days to be delayed it was today. Oh, we were there on time, but the doctor was delayed. So it was almost five by the time she came in.

She took all the measurements; the head, the stomach, the spine, the heart, the thigh bones, the works. We all peered at the monitor as the different organs came into view, eagerly waiting to see THE organ that would tell us that we were having a boy or girl.

Then came the news. "The baby is in a breech position right now...that is very common. Greater than 50 percents of all babies at this age of gestation are breech. We can't tell if it's a boy or a girl."

"We can not tell." That is the final word. This is the last ultra sound that insurance will pay for, unless there is another medical need for one. So, it looks like this baby is keeping his/her modesty until the day s/he is born.
