Gentle Breezes: Wanna know what I'm doing today?

My kitchen part 1. This is the result of about 2 and 1/2 hours of work.

My kitchen part 2, the cereal counter. Maybe, just maybe we can start painting tonight.

The Family:

Vicky - the author and the mother/wife/teacher.

Mike - wonderful, dear husband of twenty-nine years and great father of two.

Marc - son, twenty-six years old, an alumnus of an international boys' choir. He has recorded several CDs with his boys' choir and has traveled to Europe and across the Eastern US. Marc also plays guitar. He is an EMT. Charity - daughter, 19 years old, and a violinist. She graduated from the local youth symphony after spending ten years in the organization. She is also a voice actress with "Your Story Hour." Charity is in her second year at University. She is also a black belt in TaeKwonDo.

Cassie My daughter-in-law. She and Marc met while working at camp.

Gracie our 17-year-old cat.

Scooter - Charity's Russian Tortoise

Penny, our five-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier.

More About Vicky Grew up on the West Coast Attended parochial schools from first grade through undergraduate degree. Won a trip to Alaska at the age of ten. Worked at a summer camp for eight summers. Used to be a certified horsemanship instructor. Has brown eyes. Is left-handed. Plays flute. Has a general amateur radio license. Took a year out of school to teach over seas. Is a teacher by profession. Spent five years in broadcast radio. Been to 33 states including Alaska and Hawaii. Is the oldest of two kids. Always had a dog and a cat while growing up. Has made her own maple syrup from her own maple trees. Has kept a journal for thirty-one years Made her first quilt while in gradeschool Played undefeated basketball three years in high school Enjoys playing or trying some sports Loves to go camping. Is a downhill skiier. Felt Mount St. Helens erupt on May 18, 1980
