From a week ago on our vacation...

We started out a bit slow and quiet today - and that was fine with me. Tony woke up with a bit of stuffy nose and some sniffles... the result of chocolate and dairy products I've let him had on a very limited basis. I guess that was a mistake.
We decided to poke our head into Arkansas this morning, just to say we have been there. It was the first time into that state for any of us, and I think that makes 23 or 24 states for my young son. We ate lunch in Harrison, AR.
Following a two-hour plus nap by my very tired son, we played a quick round of putt-putt, followed by a trip to the Music Center Hall for the Haygoods' concert.
Those seven boys and one girl family were sure good! They range in age from 28 to 12 and they sang, danced, played instruments, threw in a little gymnastics and kept the audience thoroughly involved. This was Tony's first time to a concert like this, and he was totally taken in.
You know there is one thing I have discovered about the area we are visiting; the community is totally committed to good, clean family fun. In addition they do an awesome job recognizing our military veterans.
Tomorrow, it's off to Silver Dollar City.
