Today is my parents 39th wedding anniversery, and they are still going strong.
I wish it would be a happier day for them, for today they are making final plans for Grandma's memorial. A year ago today, Grandpa passed away. My dad lost both his parents (both in thier mid-ninties) ten days short of being a year apart.
Mom is doing as well as can be expected. This week is going to be her "low week" meaning her white blood cell count will be low following the latest round of chemo. She will have her last round in about a week's time, and then she will start her radiation.
She did tell me that the doctor was amazed at how well her bone marrow is reproducing WBC's, and she thinks it's from all the carrot juice she is drinking.
