It’s getting to be that time of year. June. June is when Angelo’s parents usually came to visit us. June. I go out of town for ten days to help with my church’s week-long, statewide get together. June. When I try to play hostess and pack at the same time. June. When Angelo brought his parents out so they could see Tony sing a special song for almost a 1000 people. June. When Angelo had to rush to his father’s hospital bedside. June. When we found out Angelo’s father had gliosarcoma; a deadly brain cancer. June.
Tonight we found out that Angelo’s mom fell and severely pulled a hamstring. Angelo’s dad wasn’t there to help. He died before this June could come back around.
