I think Tony and I have caught up on the sleep we lost on the train trip.
Yesterday, we went to a local park bordering some inland water. Tony delighted in throwing in handfuls of small gravel into the water and asking me what letter or shape the splashes formed.
Later, as we walked along a fishing dock, I was horrified to see him spit into the water.
"Tony! That's not appropriate behavior." I admonished him.
"I just wanted to make sure the ocean doesn't dry up," he told me innocently while our hosts turned their faces away as they tried to stifle a laugh.
We are currently on our way to another state; part two of our train vacation.
